Principal's Message

Montebello Intermediate School believes in educating the complete child and our approach is trust-centered and student-based.  This approach is important for grades 6-8 since these years are marked by significant physical, social, emotional and academic changes that require the careful guidance and the support of all adults.

The school is keenly aware of the importance of this state of development and our programs reflect the diverse needs of the emerging adolescent.  The programs also provide a warm, stimulating environment where students are actively involved in learning academics as well as values.

Students receive a standards-based, challenging curriculum delivered by a dedicated professional staff.  Ongoing evaluation of student progress and achievement helps refine the instructional program so students can achieve academic proficiency.

We have made a commitment to provide the best educational program possible for Montebello Intermediate School's students, and welcome any suggestions or questions you may have about the school.  Together, through our hard work, our students will be challenged to reach their maximum potential.
